Are you free? đź•Š

Are you bound by past afflictions that pull you from your present and future purpose?

Are you living life with attachments, addictions, poor habits, and negative thought patterns that do not service the life you are trying to create or the person you are striving to be?

Freedom comes from forgiveness, gratitude, positive thinking, humility and openness.

Freedom starts in the mind!

Vision

Dream of all the possibilities

Without a vision, there is no direction

Keep a vibrant vision for your future

Pray that God clears anything that blinds you from your dream

Vision creates possibilities

Nothing Personal

People can only love to their level of self love, they can only communicate to their own level of self-awareness and behave to their level of healed trauma.

Therefore, take nothing personally.

Be a positive light and warm presence to others often.

The cdc recommends that

Life Comes In Waves

With waves of my own, I can tell you there will be good seasons and challenging seasons in your life. Some long and some short, but one will always follow the other. I can, also, tell you that there will be good that comes from the challenging seasons. I can promise there may even be more good that comes out of the challenging seasons than true productive good that comes from the good seasons.

The good seasons are meant to be experienced. The challenging seasons are meant for your carving. Crashing waves shape the earth just like challenging seasons in your life demand growth from you.

I view the good seasons in our lives as reminders to be present in the moment and to also be grateful for when the waves come crashing. Without the waves that have shaped you, you could not show up as the version of you that you were meant to be in that good season.

Give yourself grace for the season that you are in right now for there is a purpose in your hardship later to be oh so grateful for. Be present in the good seasons of your life; experience them wholeheartedly.

We are in a constant state of being carved for a purpose we can not see. Let the waves come.

Balance

Our bundle of carbon/water bodies made perfectly imperfect by nature, were NOT meant to be robotically obedient. Yet, the only thing we are in perfect control over in this uncontrollable world is our ability to choose.

Read that again!

Our ability to choose can be our best blessing or our worst curse. Our choices are what create us. Our mindsets are crafted by how we CHOOSE to let the past effect vs. teach us and the future intimidate vs. influence us. Our attitudes are wound by how CHOOSE to react to situations. AND our bodies are sculpted by what food we CHOOSE to let in and what movement we CHOOSE to preform.

Our daily nutrition chooses pave the way of a healthy lifestyle or the way to dietary inflicted diseases. YET, the path to a healthy life is not perfect. It is BALANCED.

Structure is a rare commitment and dedication is a beautiful challenge, BUT restriction at level 100% is foolish. If burnout and rebound is the end goal, by all means restrict.

Balance is choosing what makes us feel fueled, healed, energetic, satisfied and HUMAN. Balance is choosing MOSTLY things that are healing for our bodies with SOME things that are fun for your well-being. Balance is staying on track with what’s nutritious even after enjoying what’s not as nutritious. Balance saves us from the crash that comes after robotic obedience. Balance is choosing to make proper decisions for our physical health while allowing chooses that benefit our mental health.

Can You Be Moved

We make choices, and our choices make us. We become the byproduct of our choices!

Our bodies display the consistency of our choices.
Our energy exudes the outline of our habits.
Our attitude radiates the truth of our dedication.

What choices are you making on a daily basis to lead you to where you want to be?
Are your current habits supportive of your intentions?
Can you be easily steered off or do you hold firm in your path? Motivation can be moved. Determination holds firm.

Energy ⚡️

Energy

…can be given & received by choice or stolen & absorbed by lack of boundaries.

If you are in the public health service industry (personal trainer, therapist, doctors, nurses, social services, etc) your energy is precious in AND outside of work. What are you choose to let affect your energy outside of work, shows in your work with clients or patients. What you choose to let affect your energy inside of work, shows in your relationships with friends and family… and yourself.

Boundaries are necessary when it comes to protecting your energy. Be compassionate, be empathetic, be understanding… without absorbing. Without proper boundaries, energy can be stolen and leave you drained with nothing left to give. You can not pour from an empty cup.

When to give and receive energy is your choice.

What if

what if your unashamed display of authenticity is what drives someone else towards self development?
•
what if a purpose of yours is to be a small human interaction that changes someone’s mindset or direction in life?
•
what if your small selfless act towards another inspires them to live a selfless life for the good and service of many?
•
what if your quick smile in passing positively effects that person’s attitude for the rest of their day? what if they share that smile with others? a ripple effect.
•
what if you make a bigger impact than you think being who you are as opposed to who you think you would rather be?
•
Life is short and fragile, it’s time to start recognizing meaning.

Filtering Reality

How to put a filter on reality:

Filter your intake
What you consume, will consume you. You don’t need to listen to the news everyday, in fact you don’t even need social media everyday. If you’ve ever done a social media cleanse before, you know that you don’t miss out on anything truly meaningful.

Filter your network
You are who you know. Your social circle plays far greater of a roll in your inner happiness and personal growth path than you think. It’s okay to “unfollow” people in real life who demean you or deplete you. Refine your network to those who are meant to push and support you towards your purpose. Having a strong and diverse social network will help you tap into your authentic self.

Filter your mindset
Mindfully put the filters of positivity and gratitude on your day every morning. Understand that our hearts are deceitful and our minds makes us think our way into a reality that is untrue. We were created uniquely and individually with a purpose, there is too much work to be done than to sit with a negative mind full of self doubt and pity. Get up.

We have the power to change our lives by how we view our surroundings and what we allow ourselves to internalize. We must train our minds towards mentally creating a life we deserve to live and relieve ourselves from the unfulfilling ways the world pulls us.

A Change of Perspective

What is on one person’s bucket list is in another person’s backyard🌞

I heard this quote from @stevenfurtick 🙏🏼🙌🏼

To think that others travel far to see the views I call home… while I’m on my mountain top thinking of somewhere someone else calls home that I saw on Tiktok or something. What a perspective shift… We can’t take the blessings we’ve been given for granted while praying for and seeking other blessings. Yes! Seek, explore, advance and enjoy, WHILE being present with a sense of recognition towards what is already yours! This mindset wakes you up to an overwhelming feeling of gratitude that you were hand placed on this world in the position you are in now for a purpose that is unique and not of your own doing for the Glory of Greater than you.✨

“Your bad day could be someone else’s blessing.” It’s easy to get caught in a tunnel vision of admiration or even envy towards those who have what we want or more. There will always be something that someone has that is “greater” than what you think you have: material belonging, personal skill, physical health, societal beauty, mental stability, family support, social abundance, etc. Yet, there are people looking to you and what you were blessed with in the same way!✨

Give your “backyard” the honor of being on your bucket list to check off! I think of “backyard” in terms of our present state of living, physical coordinates, cultural origin, family, upbringing, struggles that turn into strengths, etc. The life I live in the present and the opportunities that are open to me, I am constantly reminding myself to be appreciative of while in my stride towards “checking off my bucket list”.⚡️
