With waves of my own, I can tell you there will be good seasons and challenging seasons in your life. Some long and some short, but one will always follow the other. I can, also, tell you that there will be good that comes from the challenging seasons. I can promise there may even be more good that comes out of the challenging seasons than true productive good that comes from the good seasons.
The good seasons are meant to be experienced. The challenging seasons are meant for your carving. Crashing waves shape the earth just like challenging seasons in your life demand growth from you.
I view the good seasons in our lives as reminders to be present in the moment and to also be grateful for when the waves come crashing. Without the waves that have shaped you, you could not show up as the version of you that you were meant to be in that good season.
Give yourself grace for the season that you are in right now for there is a purpose in your hardship later to be oh so grateful for. Be present in the good seasons of your life; experience them wholeheartedly.
We are in a constant state of being carved for a purpose we can not see. Let the waves come.
